WHEN THE WORLD STARTED GOING TO HELL.

The world started going to hell when we stopped doing things out of kindness and started wanting favours in return.

It started deteriorating when we started bragging about how many “haters” we have instead of how many true friends have our backs.

The world started going to hell when we became blind to all the beauty, love and goodness of the world and told ourselves we don’t need it instead of opening our hearts to the possibility of something magical.

The world started going down when we lost our faith in people and started trusting the value of material things.

The world started losing its magic when we turned our eyes away from what was happening around us and just focused on our own dilemmas.

The world started going under when words like respect, dignity, integrity and trust were replaced by curse words, insults, hate speech and lies.

The world started seeming hopeless when we started enjoying the company of strangers instead of treasuring the company and familiarity of family in our own homes.

The world started fading when sisters became strangers and brothers became enemies.

It is not war, poverty, crime, lies and hurt that changed the world; it is the people in the world who changed.

When humans stopped being humane, that’s when the world started going to hell.
