A PICTURE IS WORTH MORE THAN A THOUSAND WORDS
Why do we take pictures?
Why do we stop at beautiful places and stare in awe at landscapes and rush to get the perfect photograph?
Why do we take selfies and try to get as much pictures and memories out of a day as we possibly can?
It's because we know when the moment is over and many have forgotten the day...we have those pictures to look at remind ourselves about what is out there and how we were feeling that day.
It’s because when all is said and done, that’s all we have left.
pictures, photographs and selfies.
It connects us to a time and a place long past. It allows feelings and memories to resurface that we thought we had lost. It gives us a glimpse of who we use to be and maybe even makes us wish we could go back.
Songs that we haven’t heard in ages, old photographs that have gathered dust and friends we have lost touch with and connected with again; its these things that are the big pieces to the puzzle of our lives.
It’s evidence that we existed in a time and a place that was everything we wanted and more than we could hope for.
